Anglin Falls

A roughly 75-foot waterfall tucked into a wildflower-rich gorge a short drive from town.

About this trail

Anglin Falls is a roughly 75-foot seasonal waterfall hidden in a wildflower-rich gorge within the John B. Stephenson Memorial Forest State Nature Preserve, owned by Berea  College and managed with the Office of Kentucky Nature Preserves. The out-and-back trail follows Anglin Creek up the hollow over rocky, root-crossed terrain before arriving at the falls. It flows best after rain in winter and spring, and is spectacular in April when the gorge fills with wildflowers. As a dedicated state nature preserve, pets, camping, and fires are prohibited.
