Two main districts

Most studios cluster in two areas: the Artisan Village near  College Square, and Old Town along Broadway. Both are walkable, so you can visit many makers in a single afternoon.

Mediums to explore

Expect pottery, hand-blown glass, woodworking, jewelry, weaving and textiles, leatherwork, and painting. Many artists welcome visitors into their working spaces and are happy to talk about their process.

Plan your route

Pick up a printed studio directory at the Berea Welcome Center, or map out a route in advance. Studio hours vary, so it's worth checking ahead for the specific makers you want to see.
